“My name is Alizeh Khan, and I'm currently enrolled in the first year of the SDNE program at Sheridan College's Trafalgar campus. Beyond my academic pursuits, I'm deeply involved in various aspects of the Sheridan community. In high school, I served as the Vice President of the Student Council, where I honed my leadership and organizational skills by spearheading initiatives and representing student interests. Additionally, I am a Peer Mentor, providing guidance and support to fellow students as they navigate their college journey. As a Student Ambassador, I enthusiastically showcase Sheridan's campus and facilities to prospective students and their families, sharing my positive experiences and insights. Furthermore, I am a Customer Service Representative at the gym, where I assist members and contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. My diverse involvement in both academic and extracurricular activities reflects my passion for community engagement and my commitment to making a positive impact at Sheridan College.”

“Student housing resources are a pressing issue for many students at Sheridan College, including myself. I've seen firsthand the challenges students face in finding affordable and safe accommodation close to campus. Advocating for improved housing resources is important to me because I understand the significant impact it has on a student's academic success and overall well-being. Ensuring access to safe and affordable housing options will help students focus on their studies and thrive during their time at Sheridan.”
